We were tasked with developing a new visual identity for University College for Interdisciplinary Learning (UCIL).
The UCIL platform allows students to study multiple units from across the university, which contribute towards their degree programme. With this in mind, the primary objective was to elevate this free-to-use degree asset with the aim of engaging and encouraging more student sign-ups.
What we did
We successfully created a vibrant and playful identity using interlocking shapes which connect and overlap to form a new unique shape. We used this visual cue as a way of describing how connecting with other course units allows you to see things differently and bolster your knowledge towards a higher scoring degree.
